About
Ellen Ehrlich became interested in grooming when she brought a standard poodle puppy home. That opened her eyes to the world of pet grooming and she has never looked back. After graduating from the Nash Academy of Animal Arts, Ellen started Royal Canine Mobile Grooming LLC in 2006. Her business took off like a speeding bullet with grooming becoming the driving force in her life. It was only natural that Ellen would branch out into other aspects of the industry because she loves to think, write, groom, and talk about grooming. Inspiring, educating, and helping others succeed is always her goal and enjoys mentoring groomers who decide to go mobile. Grooming is more then her job or a profession, it’s a “calling” and her life’s work.
Ellen Ehrlich is the author of Go Mobile And Succeed, 49 Essays On Pet Grooming and the creator of Go Mobile And Succeed – The Seminar DVD. She has appeared on Animal Planet as a guest mobile groomer, writes a popular blog on Petgroomer.com and Groomers.net called Go Mobile And Succeed, and is a Certified Feline Master Groomer. Ellen is also certified in CPR and Canine/Feline First Aid through Pet Tech.
Ellen is a freelance writer, the winner of the essay contest Driven To Groom, an industry speaker, and was on the Honor Roll for a Cardinal Crystal Award for Journalist of the Year 2010. Ellen was nominated for three awards in 2011. Two Barkleigh Awards – Blogger of the Year and Up And Coming Speaker and for a Crystal Grooming Achievement Award – Mobile Groomer Of The Year.
Ellen’s endless amount of passion and enthusiasm motivates her to explore and take advantage of new opportunities in the grooming industry. She has lots of plans for future projects so please stay tuned.
